Life in the Al-Hikmat Boarding House

The Al-Hikmat Schools Boarding House is designed to be a safe, comfortable and highly structured residential environment where students develop discipline, independence and strong Islamic character alongside their academic pursuits.

Our boarding house runs strictly to Islamic standards — students perform all five daily prayers in congregation, engage in nightly Quran revision, and live in a community that reinforces the values of respect, cleanliness, integrity and brotherhood/sisterhood.

Perform all five daily Salah in congregation without fail

Participate in daily Quran revision and memorisation sessions

Maintain cleanliness of dormitory and shared facilities at all times

Show respect to all teachers, house-parents and fellow students

No mobile phones, tablets or electronic games without permission

Observe lights-out time strictly and remain in dormitories after curfew

Eat only in the designated dining area; no food in dormitories

Wear proper Islamic dress code within the boarding premises at all times

Be punctual for all meals, prayers, study periods and school assembly

Maintain brotherhood/sisterhood — bullying and fighting are strictly prohibited
